Remembering Pearl Harbor

Today marks the 69th anniversary of a day President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said would “forever live in infamy.”  It was a day that eventually sent my great-grandfather, grandparents and ancestors to a Japanese American Internment Camp at Manzanar, where my Great-Grandpa served as a cook.

Although it is a solmen memory, the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is being dedicated.  You can read more about it here, and learn a little about the internment camps here.
